MaOI Institute publishes marine observation data from coastal areas in Shizuoka Prefecture (including Lake Hamana) in formats suitable for research, education, business planning, and various other uses.
About marine observation data
The MaOI Institute has published a database (BISHOP) compiling observation data such as water temperature and salinity from coastal areas in Shizuoka Prefecture (including Lake Hamana), along with Kuroshio Current path maps. A web app is also available to view current surface and mid-layer water temperatures at 4 locations along Suruga Bay's coast.
