Participation in International Marine Industry Clusters Network
MaOI became the first organization from Asia to formally join the Blue Tech Cluster Alliance (BTCA), a voluntary association of marine industry clusters in North America and Europe.
Interaction with each cluster is maintained through activities such as hosting pitch events for companies participating in each cluster.

Exchanges with Overseas Organizations
Hosting site visits for overseas companies and student/researcher groups when they come to Japan. This includes tours of marine-related companies in Shizuoka Prefecture and introductions to MaOI initiatives.

MaOI Institute's International Activities
Through participation in marine-related symposia held worldwide and exhibiting at trade shows, it undertakes the gathering of information from overseas and the dissemination of information to overseas markets.
