The Marine Microbial Library owned by MaOI Institute is a strain database centered on lactic acid bacteria and yeasts isolated from marine area in Shizuoka Prefecture. It provides integrated services from search, information viewing, distribution, and technical support for companies and research institutions aiming at research and product development.

What is the Microbial Library?

The library contains strains collected by MaOI Institute itself, as well as marine resource information owned by universities and companies, allowing easy search by strain type, uses, etc., according to purpose.
